21 Days for 2021
Heralding in the Hebraic New Year!
Throughout the nations, God is calling forth Watchmen to rise and build their ramparts from local communities to global connections as the end-time landscape unfurls. These 21 days will be a platform to build into what has been established with a focus on re-aligning and restoration of God's covenant plans for us individually and as nations. As Islam breaks forth its plans to destroy, the God of life is working behind the scenes. He is a covenant keeping God. Psalm 89:34 promises, "My covenant I will not break nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips." Wow! What an amazing God we serve! Let us honor His defined feasts with praise and worship in the mornings 6am JT, and evenings 3pm JT through the Fall feasts starting with Rosh Hashanah on September 6th, through the Feast of Tabernacles, September 27th. During the three weeks we will have cutting edge teaching with prophetic clarity, dynamic break-out sessions with opportunity for us to build into collaborative efforts across the nations. Mark your calendars for these special days.
What is significant about this year?
As we enter into the Fall feasts, Rosh Hashanah opens up 5782, the new Hebraic year. It is a Shmitah (or Shemitah) year. In other words, it is a year of rest. It is a time when fields are allowed to lay fallow. When allowed to rest, nutrients from old seeds, roots, plants etc. have an opportunity to decay and provide new nourishment for the coming season of crops. Honoring the Shmitah year, this year we are adopting a fast, a rest from negative speaking and thinking to nourish our minds in the things of God. It will be a time to process our lives and minds in the "rest" of God.
With the End-time narrative intensifying before us, we invite you into this fast to help prepare our heart and mind shields for the coming season. We need to know and have resource within us to be resilient and courageous in days of increasing adversity. Please join us in the "Grumble Fast." A unique and powerful fast that will discipline our hearts and our tongues to line up and be a voice for the Lord! For more information click here. This is an invitation, in the midst of heavy times, to nourish and saturate ourselves in the Truth, and speak life to ourselves and others.
The importance of Shmitah:
The Shmitah is patterned after God's seventh day of rest. The importance of the Shmitah year has gained recent interest through a book and teaching by Rabbi Jonathan Cahn. "The Mystery of the Shemitah" outlines Cahn's belief that all nations, not just Jews, should be following Shemitah and that those who do not will face God's judgement. He writes that a seven-year cycle of judgement can be seen in tragic events, especially in America. For example, he shows that the World Trade Center was conceived in 1945, broke ground for construction in 1966, opened in 1973, was bombed in 1993, and was destroyed in 2001—all Shemitah years. The replacement Freedom Tower opened in 2014, another Shemitah year (1). Whatever your perception, God is drawing attention to His Word and purposes as we end this seven year cycle and learn to "rest" in Him...a covenant re-alignment.
