He will be angry as in the Valley of Gibeon--
That He may do His work, His awesome work,
And bring to pass His act, His unusual act.”

There are two distinct calls for prayer and fasting coming from Israel:

1. 40 Day Fast for America, Israel, and the Islamic World, 4 July-13 August
2. 30 Day Fast for breakthrough in Israel on the 9 month anniversary of the Oct. 7 war, 7 July-7 August

40 Days Prayer and Fast: 
The drums of war are continuing to beat across Israel and the Middle East.  This is a call to 40 days of prayer and fasting to "Fortify the gates," and awaken the church for God's intervention in the face of escalating tensions and war in the Middle East.  A shift is happening.  The war season is changing, and God is calling us to "anoint our shields" into the shift.  The enemy is seeking to destroy nations, but God is calling watchmen to the wall to contend for His covenantal promises and destiny.

A CONVERGENCE:  This call lands on significant convergence in that the 4th of July is "Independence Day" in America.  August 13th is also the 9th of Av as well as the 297th anniversary of the historic revival outpouring in Herrnhut, Germany that launched over 100 years of 24/7 prayer. 

We would like to invite you to unite with us in this strategic call for 40 days of Daniel fast. We hope and pray that you will hear the sound of the trumpet and lock shields with us!

FOCUS POINTS FOR THE FASTS (in collaboration with the 30 Day call for Prayer and fasting 7 July-7 August, and the 40 Day call for prayer and fasting, 4 July-13) 
1).  Breakthrough in the war

• God's intervention, strategy, and breakthrough
  • Isaiah 42:3. The Lord will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal like a man of war.  He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry.  He will prevail against His enemies. 
  • Ps 18:30  As for God, His way is blameless; the word of the Lord is tried; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. 
• Prophetic accuracy for strategic war interventions
  • Nu 10:9. When you go to war in your land against the adversary who attacks you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, that you may be remembered before the Lord your God, and be saved from your enemies.

2).  Refreshing and healing for the weariness and grief in the land from the heat of battle and strength to turn the battle at the gate

• Release of God's supernatural strength:
  • Ps 18:39  For You have girded me with strength for battle;  You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.
  • Ps 144:1 Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle.  
• Release of prophetic vision and empowerment
  • 2 Chron 20:20-24. "Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper." And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the LORD, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying:  "Praise the LORD,  For His mercy endures forever."
    Now when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated. For the people of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir to utterly kill and destroy them. And when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another.  So when Judah came to a place overlooking the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude; and there were their dead bodies, fallen on the earth. No one had escaped.
• Release of compassion ministries for healing 
  • Mt 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called children of God
  • Mt. 5:44. But I tell you love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. 
• Release of repentance for a process of restoration
  • ​Psalm 55
  • Acts 3:19. Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. 

3).  "One New Man:"  Prayer would be a unifying force amongst Jews and Arabs in the land 

• Watchmen would be established and connected within Israel as a unified contending community, Jews, Arabs, and Gentiles alike. 
  • Isaiah 52:8. Your watchmen shall raise up their voices, with their voices they shall sing together for they shall see eye to eye when the LORD brings back Zion. 
  • Isaiah 62:6-7. I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem;  They shall never hold their peace day or night.
    You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent,  And give Him no rest till He establishes  And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.​
  • Isaiah 21:5-6. Prepare the table, Set a watchman in the tower, Eat and drink. Arise, you princes,
    Anoint the shield! For thus has the Lord said to me: "Go, set a watchman, Let him declare what he sees."
  • Isaiah 60:7. All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you,
    The rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you;
    They shall ascend with acceptance on My altar,
    And I will glorify the house of My glory.
• This would be a time of building strength within Israel between Arabs, Jews, and Gentiles
  • Josh 14:11. I am still as strong today as I was in the day Moses sent me; as my strength was then, so my strength is now, for war and for going out and coming in.
  • Eph 2:13. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
  • Gal 3:27-29  For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. see also Rom 10:12; 1 Tim 2:5-6; Eph 1:7-10
  • Zech 8:20-23. Thus says the LORD of hosts:
    'Peoples shall yet come, Inhabitants of many cities; The inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying,
    "Let us continue to go and pray before the LORD, And seek the LORD of hosts. I myself will go also." Yes, many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem,  And to pray before the LORD.' "Thus says the LORD of hosts: 'In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you."'"

4).  Push back enemy schemes that are out of God’s timing​

• 2 Cor 6:2. For He says: "In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you." Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
• Isaiah 49:8. Thus says the Lord,  “In a favorable time I have answered You, And in a day of salvation I have helped You;
  And I will keep You and give You for a covenant of the people,  To restore the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages; (also 2 Cor 6:2)
• Mark 13:33-36. Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning— lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!"

​5). Salvation and the harvest in Israel, America, and the Islamic world 

• Blind eyes will be opened to the truth of the Gospel
  • ​John 3:16-18   For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.  Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son
  • John 14:6  I am the way the truth and the life, No one comes to the Father except through me. 
  • Lu 19:10  For the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost.
  • Acts 4:11-12 This is the 'stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.' Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
• Salvation in the Islamic world
  • ​Is 60:7. All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you, The rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you; They shall ascend with acceptance on My altar, And I will glorify the house of My glory.
  • Is 60:13-14. The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, the cypress, the pine, and the box tree together, to beautify the place of My sanctuary; and I will make the place of My feet glorious.  Also, the sons of those who afflicted you shall come bowing to you, and all those who despised you shall fall prostrate at the soles of your feet.  
• Raise up workers for the harvest
  • ​​Matthew 9:37-38  Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”
• ​Endurance for the harvest
  • Gal 6:9   “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
  • ​Isaiah 35:3-5  Strengthen the weak hands,  And make firm the feeble knees.  Say to those who are fearful-hearted,  "Be strong, do not fear!   Behold, your God will come with vengeance,  With the recompense of God; He will come and save you."  Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

This call for prayer and fasting is being issued in collaboration with HOPE Nazareth and in agreement with a 30 day call to prayer and fast from within Israel.
