THE TURNING: Part III
“Straits of Tammuz” 2022 A Strategic Intervention
Advancing to Possess the Kingdom
I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, until the Ancient of Days came,
and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High,
and the time came for the saints to possess the Kingdom.
Daniel 7:21-22
Given the times of war and tensions rising, we believe we are in a crucible of time to intervene as watchmen as we face the historic times converging on the “Straits of Tammuz,” or “Dire Straits.” This time represents the time when the physical walls of Jerusalem were breached and broken. Both Solomon’s and subsequently Ezra’s and Nehemiah’s temples were destroyed on 9th of Av in 586 BC, and 70 AD respectively.
To accentuate the sense of a significant time, a "Moed" or "set time," the US Supreme Court overturning the national cover for abortion and Roe v. Wade decision, heralds a call to attention. A significant spiritual door has opened. We must press through in this hour if we are to see the spiritual advance the Lord is inviting us into. Such a merging points to a significant weight not just for the USA and Israel but for the nations. We must stand watch for God's plans and purposes in the nations, the harvest that is at hand, and particularly Israel so that they are not aborted and the enemy steal outside of God's timing.
In contrast to the breach and tearing down of Jerusalem’s temple, we are dedicating this time to focus on rebuilding and strengthening the spiritual walls of Jerusalem through our individual, corporate, and end-time call as Watchmen. By linking across the nation with those in Israel, we believe this is an important intervention and invite your participation. The strategy below will hopefully build and “Spur one another on towards love and good deeds!”

- Section 1: July 16-22-Our Individual Call (Gen 2:15, Hab 2:1, 1 Cor 16:13)
- Section 2: July 23-29-Our Corporate Call Building Community from local to global (Neh 4:19-20; Isaiah 58:12; Acts 2:1)
- Section 3: July 30-August 6 (9th of Av)-The end-time Call (Isaiah 62:6-7; Isaiah 52:8; Mt 25:13; Rev 16:15)
Section 1: Our Individual Call
1. Identity in Christ: We are in a war season. God is preparing an active ekklesia that understands their identity in Christ and are faith-filled for their call. Understanding our role as watchmen is vital to prepare and ready ourselves for this season of war. I will stand my watch And set myself on the rampart, And watch to see what He will say to me, And what I will answer when I am corrected. Habakkuk 2:1. Preparing ourselves for new mantles Zechariah 3:1-4
2. Grounded in God’s Word: As deception increases, it is all the more important to discipline ourselves and meditate on God’s Word. His truth will set us free and lead us into new strength and victory.
3. Purity of heart for integrity in life. “Purity of heart is to will one thing,” is a famous quote by Soren Kierkegaard. David relays this thought in Psalm 27:4 “One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.” Inner peace is found when we completely surrender our hearts and minds to Him. We will then be more attuned to what concerns Him in our social and cultural spheres. When we come into the adoption of His heart, what concerns Him will concern us.
4. Perseverance - faith to finish well and receive the crown. Obedience to and faith in God’s word will keep our eyes on the finish line. The enemy is out to distract us and cause us to run “to and fro,” leading many to exhaustion. It is a big warning in Daniel 12:4 (chapters 10-12 of Daniel is one of the longest end-time narratives in the Bible). By yielding to God’s word and obeying Him through life’s difficulties, we will see His promises for us fulfilled.
5. Refreshing: Strengthen/encourage yourself in the Lord: One great weapon of the enemy is discouragement. Elijah was so discouraged by the opposition he wished to die. The Lord delivered him from depression and gave him a vision for a new day (1 Kings 19:4-15). The enemy seeks to discourage the saints with persecution, failure, pain, losses, betrayal, delay, and so on. Be strong! The Hebrew word for strength is ḥâzaq. Notably, ḥâzaq appears 27 times in Nehemiah 3 when the people miraculously re-built the wall of Jerusalem in 52 days (Neh 6:15). If you don't give up, the enemy will. Pray that the Lord will give you grace to stay encouraged in the journey.
6. Prepare for battle: We cannot wish battles away. We need to face them and be ready in mind and spirit to win. The battle is not ours but God's. The weapons are not ours but the Lord's. The enemy would want us to fall back in fear, but God wants to prepare us to face the battles in faith and trust in Him.
7. PRAYER FOR LEADERS: We are exhorted to pray for those in authority. The anti-Christ spirit is rising in the nations. Our leaders are, in particular, very susceptible and influenced by it.
- Personal Intimacy with God: Distractions can easily interfere with our relationship with God and prevent us from hearing His voice and communing with Him. The result is burnout. Daniel warns us, “He will speak out against the Most High and wear down the saints of the Highest One, and he will intend to make alterations in times and in law; and they will be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time” (Daniel 7:25).
- Repent for lack of prioritizing our personal worship and time with the Lord
- Mt. 11:28-30 Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
- Gal 6:9 Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.
- Levi 6:13 Fire shall be kept burning continually on the altar; it is not to go out.
- Pray that we would know Him intimately
- James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
- Col 3:1-2 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
- John 15:15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends
2. Grounded in God’s Word: As deception increases, it is all the more important to discipline ourselves and meditate on God’s Word. His truth will set us free and lead us into new strength and victory.
- Pray for God’s word to be living and active within us
- John 8:32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
- Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
- Joshua 1:6-9 NKJV …This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.
- 1 Timothy 4:12-16 NKJV Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. [ Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
- See also 1 Kings 20:39-43; Acts 26:15-20
- Renew your mind through meditation on His word
- Philippians 2:5-11 NKJV Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
- Pray for God to reveal any strongholds and ways of thinking towards yourself or others that would hinder your relationship with Him and repent.
- Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
- Leviticus 6:13 The fire shall be burning continually upon the altar; it shall not go out.
- Psalm 5:3 My voice you shall hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up.
- Repent for apathy for, or engagement with social and cultural sins that have separated us from the heart of God. Ex.: abortion; sex trafficking; suicide; homicide; gender confusion
- Ask God to give you His heart for the culture around you that what concerns Him would concern you.
- Proverbs 4:23 Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
- Pro 31:8-9 Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.
- Ask God to give you His heart for the culture around you that what concerns Him would concern you.
- Pray that as we seek Him, we would receive a spirit of adoption
- Matthew 5:10 Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.
- Romans 8:19, 22 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God…For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now
- Gal 4:6-7 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!" Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
- Eph 4:1-6 He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
- John 15:15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing, but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.
- Pray for the faith to persevere through trials and tribulations and finish well.
- Philippians 3:12-14: Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. [13] Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, [14] I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
- 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 NKJV Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.
- Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him.
- 2 Timothy 4:7-8 NKJV I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
- Gal 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
- Colossians 4:17 NKJV And say to Archippus, "Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it."
- See also John 17:4; 2 Timothy 2:3-13 NKJV
- Take time daily to refresh yourself in the Lord:
- 1 Samuel 30:3-6 NKJV … Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened (hazaq) himself in the LORD his God.
- Philippians 4:4-8 NKJV Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things.
- Hebrews 12:1-2: Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
- Is 40:28-31 …But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
- See also 1 Peter 2:21-24, Neh 3
- After encouraging yourself, find someone to encourage daily, send a note, thank someone, openly recognize their value to you.
- Deut. 3:28. The Lord said to Moses, “But command Joshua, and encourage him and strengthen him; for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which you will see."
- Deut 31:7 Then Moses called Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, "Be strong and of good courage, for you must go with this people to the land which the LORD has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall cause them to inherit it.
- Is 35:3-4 Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees, say to those who are fearful-hearted, be strong, do not fear! Behold your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God; He will come and save you.
- Put on the full armor of God daily
- Ephesians 6:10-18 NKJV …. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints-
- Philippians 2:13 It is God Who works in you to will and to act according to His good purpose.
- Pray that the Lord would prepare you spiritually to face (not run from) the battles ahead.
- 1 Kings 20:22 NKJV And the prophet came to the king of Israel and said to him, "Go, strengthen yourself; take note, and see what you should do, for in the spring of the year the king of Syria will come up against you."
- 1 John 4:4 NKJV You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
- 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 NKJV For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
- 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 NKJV And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
- Phil 4:12-12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
- See also 1 Samuel 17:45-47; 2 Cor 1:8-10
- In the midst of the battle, don’t forget joy-it is a source of strength
- Neh 8:10 The joy of the Lord is your strength.
- Psalm 21:1 The king shall have joy in Your strength, O Lord; and in Your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! You have given him his heart’s desire, and have not withheld the request of his lips.
7. PRAYER FOR LEADERS: We are exhorted to pray for those in authority. The anti-Christ spirit is rising in the nations. Our leaders are, in particular, very susceptible and influenced by it.
- Pray for personal spiritual encounters with the Lord, for their spiritual eyes to open, and for their salvation.
- 1 Tim 2:1-4 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
- John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
- Acts 9-Paul’s encounter with Jesus and conversion on the Damascus road
- Pray for leaders by name for their salvation

Section 2
The Corporate Call of the Watchman
The work is great and extensive, and we are separated far from one another on the wall. Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there. Our God will fight for us.
Neh 4:19-20
1. Recognize the power of community: God is pulling living stones together with tempered mortar to strengthen us in battle. The corporate ekklesia is vital to apprehend and understand how to engage in to turn the battle at the gates of our nations. (1 Peter 2:5). The Lord is calling us to pull individual strengths together for greater exploits. In the past season, COVID has tried to separate us. The importance of community cannot be undersold. History is replete with corporate expressions of praise and worship ushering in revival. From the famous outpouring of the Holy Spirit leading to over 100 years of corporate prayer, Count Nicholas von Zinzendorf’s famous quote is “There is no Christianity without community.” Pray that these characteristics of community are not bypassed in our spiritual journey.
2. Spiritual awakening of the Warrior Bride- As a bride makes herself ready for her wedding- we are preparing for the wedding of the millennia. How do we make ourselves ready? Pray for a spiritual awakening across the nations. One of the greatest deliverances now and in the future is for the removal of spiritual apathy in the church into the alert and ready bride.
3. Power of Blessing: God initiated the practice of giving a blessing when He blessed Adam and Eve and commissioned them to be “Fruitful and multiply” (Genesis 1:28). Because spoken words have power, a blessing has power. Blessing others is a way to stand in the gap and repair the breach on the wall as we strengthen the hands that hang down and the knees that are weak. Blessing someone is also an act of forgiveness, comfort, and an extension of protection. Blessing also enables us to inherit God’s blessing.
4. Offense: Pray for the unveiling and release of offense through revelation and repentance. The enemy works to keep us separated from God and from one another. Jesus warns us that in the end-times offense will be a major challenge to the body of Christ, “And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another” (Matthew 24:10). Often subtle and difficult to discern, seeds of offense breed trouble and prevent the Kingdom from advancing.
5. Generational Strength. Pray for the release of generational strength and the manifestations of Malachi 4:6 “And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to the fathers.” As Watchmen in the Body, we need grace for corporate humility where each part seeks the good of the Body and the Body seeks the good of every part which includes the generations. We are missing an entire generation due to the sin of abortion. From the havoc of the recent decades of rebellion and family dysfunction, God is raising up a new hunger for inter-generational relationship. Jesus modeled this intergenerational relationship (Matthew 10:42; Matthew 11:25-26; Matthew 18:2-6, Matthew 18:10; Matthew 19:13-14; Matthew 21:16; Mark 10:13-16; Luke 9:46-48)
6. Relational Unity: The ministry of recognition is a powerful but underutilized tool that can mobilize and release people into their destiny and build the body of Christ. This ministry of encouragement is a powerful tool. When Peter recognized Jesus for who He was at Caesarea Philippi (Mt. 16), Jesus’ ministry completely shifted from ministering to people to focus on Jerusalem and His ultimate destiny to redeem the world.
7. PRAYER FOR LEADERS: In times of great deception, pray for hearts to turn towards the eternal truth of His word and subsequently wisdom and revelation that flow from it. God used pagans to do His will. Moses said to Pharaoh, “But for this purpose I have raised you up, to show my power, so that My name may be proclaimed in all the earth,” (Exodus 9:16). Also, King Cyrus (Isaiah 48), King Ahasuerus (who married Esther), even Saul of Tarsus were used by God. We cannot go by what our eyes see, but commit to pray for those in leadership.

From the famous outpouring of the Holy Spirit leading to over 100 years of corporate prayer, Count Nicholas von Zinzendorf’s famous quote is “There is no Christianity without community.” Pray that these characteristics of community are not bypassed in our spiritual journey.
- Protection through community:
- Leviticus 26:8 NKJV Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall by the sword
before you. - Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 NKJV Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
- Daniel 2:17-19 NKJV Then Daniel went to his house, and made the decision known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions, that they might seek mercies from the God of heaven concerning this secret, so that Daniel and his companions might not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. So Daniel blessed the God of heaven.
- Leviticus 26:8 NKJV Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall by the sword
- Strength and spiritual power in community
- Acts 2:1 NKJV And when the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
- Acts 16:25-26 NKJV But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loosed. Also Acts 4:23-37
- Corporate accountability and holiness through walking together:
- Exodus 26:1 Moreover you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen. We are clothed with Jesus when we are clothed with the corporate acts of righteousness.
- Pray for spiritual awakening to the times and seasons upon us.
- Matthew 24:37-39 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
- Rev. 19:7- For the marriage supper of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothes herself with fine linen, bright and pure.
- Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
- Pray for accurate spiritual discernment. We are in times that Isaiah prophesied: “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil” (Isaiah 5:20)
- Heb 5:14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
- 1 Cor 14:33 For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints.
- Hos 14:9 Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them; for the ways of the Lord are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them.
3. Power of Blessing: God initiated the practice of giving a blessing when He blessed Adam and Eve and commissioned them to be “Fruitful and multiply” (Genesis 1:28). Blessing others is a way to stand in the gap and repair the breach on the wall as we strengthen the hands that hang down and the knees that are weak. Blessing someone is also an act of forgiveness, comfort, and an extension of protection. Blessing also enables us to inherit God’s blessing.
- Key to blessing is controlling our tongues.
- Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue
- James 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.
- Romans 12:14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
- Matthew 5:43-45 You have heard that it was said, “You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.” But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.
- 1 Peter 3:9 Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.
- Be thankful in all things:
- Eph. 1:3 Blessed by the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who
has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly
places. - Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those
who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
- Eph. 1:3 Blessed by the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who
- Receive the blessing of God:
- Numbers 6:24-26 The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.”
- Ask God to reveal any subtle seeds of offense towards others that you may harbor.
- Hebrews 12:14-15 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled.
- 1 Peter 2:23-24 When He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
- Mt. 18:7 Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!
- God to give you His heart for your brother/sister in Christ
- 1 Peter 3:10-11 For whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit; let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it.
- James 4:11-12 Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?
- Romans 12:17-19 Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”
- Remember forgiveness is a given as a Christian, trust is earned.
- Psalm 40:4 Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie.
- Seeing one another as the Lord’s servant.
- Romans 14:4- “Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.”
- Pray for hearts to remain faithful to God across the generations. (only 3 in 10 in younger generations remain true to their faith1)
- Psalm 145:4 One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.
- Eph 6:1-4
- Mt. 19:14-15 But Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven." And He laid His hands on them and departed from there.
- 1 Tim 4:12 Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
- Pray for physical adoption of orphans and strategies for generational discipleship
- Eph 6:4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.
- Deut 10:18 He administers justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and clothing
- James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this; to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
- Mt. 25:40 The King will reply, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
- Pray for a return to biblical truths and morality first in our families, churches, community, on to nations
- Old Testament examples of generational discipleship include the celebration of feasts, reading of the law:
1. Moses speaks to Israel for the final time before going into the promised landDeut 29:10-12
2. Jehoshaphat called for a fast that included generations, 2 Chron 20:13
3. Ezra reads the book of the law to all of Israel Neh 8:2-3; 12:43 - Titus 2 (chapter speaks to a return to biblical morality amongst generations) Titus 2:14 who gave Himself for us that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
- 2 Peter 1:5 Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence and in your moral excellence, knowledge
- 1 Thess 4:3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification, that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality
- Old Testament examples of generational discipleship include the celebration of feasts, reading of the law:
- Pray for the revelation of the pain of abortion and healing for those who have had it to align with God’s heart for life.
- Pain of Abortion:
- Ps 139:13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
- Mark 6 But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!
- Healing for those who have gone through it:
- Ps 10:14 But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted; you consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to you; you are the helper of the fatherless.
- Romans 8:1 There is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.
- Pain of Abortion:
- Pray for the release and use of the ministry of recognition in our lives, and for the Church at large, the ekklesia.
- Mt. 16:15-18 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."Jesus answered and said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”
- 1 Corinthians 12:15-26 NKJV ...But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
- 2 Tim 1:6-7 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
- Pray for unity as people recognize how they fit in with the larger body and align with their spiritual identity.
- Romans 12:5 So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
- 1 Corinthians 12:24b-25 God has so composed theBody, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it, that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.
- Nehemiah 4:13-14 I stationed the people by their clans, with their swords, their spears, and their bows. And I looked and arose and said to the nobles and to the officials and to the rest of the people ‘Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.’
- 1 Peter 4:10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.
- Psalm 133
- Pray for corporate holiness. True fellowship is based on genuine relationship, walking in agreement, a unity of the brethren that results communion with the Father. It involves a self-sacrificial choice to invest in others with our time, talents, and spiritual giftings. The result: “a holy awe swept over everyone, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders (Acts 2: 43).”
- Hebrews 12:3, 7, 10-11 Consider Him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted... It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons...but He disciplines us for our good, that we may share His Holiness. For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
- ii.2 Timothy 2:3-4 Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier. iii. 1 Thess. 5: 21 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in allcircumstances, ...Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies, but test everything: hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.
- Pray for God to raise up godly leadership with godly counsel from local to national positions that will uphold His laws and seek righteousness.
- Mt. 20: 25-28 But Jesus called them to Himself and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave— just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
- Pray for leader’s discernment
- 1 Kings 3:9 Give your servant, therefore, an understanding mind to govern your people, that I may discern between good and evil, for who is able to govern this your great people?
- Col 2:8. Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
- Pray for leader’s wisdom
- Proverbs 2:6. For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
- Pro 13:10. Where there is strife, there is pride, but wisdom is found in those who take advice.
- Pro 4:7 The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding
- 1 Cor 1:25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength
- Peter 6:1-4 “So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed: shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you, not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

The End-time Call of the Watchman: Your watchmen shall lift up their voices, With their voices they shall sing together; For they shall see eye to eye
When the LORD brings back Zion. Isaiah 52:8
1. Pray for people to receive the visionary call of the Watchman and pursue it. If we are to see eye to eye, the role of the watchmen requires us to move beyond our personal prayer life into community, and connection with others. How else can we hear the sound of the trumpet and rally together?
2. Pray for the Church to take on the role of a “House of Prayer for All Nations,” for corporate praise and worship expressions to rise up from communities/churches across the nations. Worship is a key to unlock and unleash His victory. As we wait on the Lord and stand in our assignment, He will release His strategies from heaven with the High praises of God in our mouth and a double-edged sword in our hands. (For further vetting of the importance of this point go to Unleashed: Unlocking the Power of Corporate Prayer)
3. War from a place of rest: As times intensify, it will be important to pace ourselves and not get worn out. If God rested on the seventh day, so should we. Rest is not laziness. It is actually an active, willful and focused trust in the Lord in all things. “There is a great sense of rest in being in the way of His steps.” (Lilias Trotter, missionary to Algiers)
4. Deception: Educate yourself in the end-time narrative in order to pray with a spirit of wisdom and revelation. Without knowledge of the biblical end-time narrative, we can be easily swayed into secular narratives.
5. Overcome the fear of man and yield to the “Fear of the Lord.” Refuse to dwell in caves and be willing to take a stand for the Lord...trusting in Him.
6. Pray for spiritual hunger, growth, and maturity in believers. Scriptures warn us of the “Great falling away,” in the end-times. Pray for the spiritual maturing of the body of Christ, particularly in all generations.
7. LEADERS: Pray for God’s timing not to be preempted by the enemy’s rage and schemes. a. Pray for a revelation of the importance of Israel in leaders of sheep nations
through the political maneuvering in the end-times.

Praise the Lord !'
- Psalm 68:1-4 Let God arise, Let His enemies be scattered; Let those also who hate Him flee before Him. And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dance and the morning star rises in your hearts, knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
- Seek wisdom from God
- Eph. 1:17-21 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, my give to you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first.
