How to start a Watch and build....
The concept of the watch goes back to the creation of mankind. When God made man He commissioned us to, "Tend and keep the garden," He gave us, Genesis 2:15. The ancient foundational understanding of what it means to "Watch" and to be a "Watchman" is being unfolded for such a time as this. Throughout scriptures there are common themes when watchmen appear on the scene. These are as follows:
- During key governmental shifts: 2 Sam 18:24-25 (Overthrow of Absalom); 2 Kings 2:17 (downfall of Jezebel); 2 Kings 11 (overthrow of Athaliah); Ezekiel 33:1-6;
- Covenant issues: Genesis 2:15; 17:9-10; 18:19; 26:5; Exodus 12:17,24-25; Lev 18:4-30; Joshua 1:7-8; 1 Kings 2:3-4

Practical steps to take
STEP 1: Register online! This opens the communication lines. Watchmen are different than other prayer streams in that we need to know where you are. Otherwise, we have no way of knowing how or where to respond when the trumpet sounds, Neh 4:19-20, "Then I said to the nobles, the rulers, and the rest of the people, 'The work is great and extensive, and we are separated far from one another on the wall. Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there. Our God will fight for us.'" For USA citizens, please register online through the USA Watch (You will automatically be part of the Global Watch, but we help assist establishing regions through the time zones of America).
STEP 2: Find your community
1) Encounter GroupsEncounter groups are a great way to start building up a "Watch" community with committed prayer if you do not have it in your area, or region.

National and International Watches

National watches are emerging as the relational strength of the Watch grows. These expressions vary from daily to once a month gatherings or prayer calls depending on the culture from which they arise. We are using Zoom technology to facilitate national and international calls. If you are interested in participating or starting a national watch, we would welcome your assistance. Please contact us.
We are dedicated to building the "Global Watch" and its various local, national, and international forms into a lasting expression as Jesus prepares the nations for His return.
"Your Watchmen shall raise up their voices, they shall sing together and see eye to eye when the Lord brings back Zion,"
Is 52:8.
