This is My Doing....
Arise, shine; For your light has come!
And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the LORD will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you. Isaiah 60:1-2
With over 60+ national elections this year, a major platform of governance for the future is being laid out. Leaders being elected now will have much on their plate to contend with in the coming season. The birth pang season is upon us and these leaders will be ones who will be dealing with them. In America, the contest for the upcoming election in November has taken on a new dimension of uncertainty. With the Trump indictment this week, elections in America could be seriously compromised. Both parties have major obstacles to overcome. Personally, I have become dismayed and distressed at how divisive and weaponized systems have become. The accuser’s rampage is making small issues the elephant in the room while ignoring the crumbling foundations underneath. America is not alone. Israel is fighting high level division in its ranks and dealing with pressures from both within and outside the nation. Division in governments across the globe are becoming more marked and unreconcilable. What is our response as Watchmen?
In pressing into the Lord over the ensuing days, there was no answer. Finally, on pulling back, the Lord reminded me of the wee morning hours of November 4, 2020, I was awakened and I heard the Lord say, “This is My doing.” It was during the hours when the November 3rd elections took a very questionable turn for the election of the now President Biden. When I heard these words, a supernatural peace took over. Even in the ensuing political upheaval and battle, I had a deep sense that God is in it and allowing it. Now in the reverberations of another full step forward into potential mayhem or chaos this week, the Lord took me back to those words. “This is My doing,” has taken on a whole new light. On a very large scale, an end-time landscape is not only developing, but platforms and policies are being put into place for the narrative to unfold.
There is a maneuvering of powers and principalities that an all-knowing, all-seeing God is allowing for His end-time purposes. Amid the dismay and the rage of nations, there is a God who is working an extraordinary plan. God will work all things together for good. If Trump had been elected, the unfolding strongholds of the enemy would not have been exposed:

Amid the dismay and the rage of nations, there is a God who is working an extraordinary plan. God will work all things together for good. If Trump had been elected, the unfolding strongholds of the enemy would not have been exposed:
- In the US, election integrity issues were exposed. Though it is on the road to recovery, there continues to be a need for clarity and accuracy
- A grassroots mobilization for community involvement was sparked
- Weaponization of our judicial, and governmental structures are being exposed
- Collusion to suppress freedom of speech has been uncovered
- If Trump had been in office, there is a likely possibility that October 7th may not have happened. Nobody wants war or the pain it invokes, however, it has exposed the underlying tunnels that could have wrecked much more havoc.
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it,” (John 15:12-13).

How then should we stand?
I wrote a word earlier this year on “The Three Battlefields: Warring from a Place of Rest,” the tyranny of the urgent, crisis of identity, and our authority in Christ. All of these battlegrounds are likely targets now. In gaining ground and having victory over these battlefields for the Kingdom, it all boils down to one word…TRUST. Who and what we trust now is a vital pivot point for the future trajectory of our spiritual lives and that for which we contend in the Kingdom. Look what trust commands in the Bible (examples):
So rather than be caught up in the dismay and the rage pulsating in the nations, God is releasing new realms of authority to expand our spiritual capacity to advance the Kingdom. In what and in who we place our trust is key when the chips are down and will pave the way for the victory today and future advance for the Kingdom. In no uncertain terms, earth is at war, but heaven is preparing for a wedding. Let us be a bride with oil in our lamps.
Trusting in Him and praying for spiritual encouragement for all who read,

I wrote a word earlier this year on “The Three Battlefields: Warring from a Place of Rest,” the tyranny of the urgent, crisis of identity, and our authority in Christ. Who and what we trust now is a vital pivot point for the future trajectory of our spiritual lives and that for which we contend in the Kingdom. Look what trust commands in the Bible (examples):
- Pro 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths. - Jer 17:7-8 Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.
For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
And will not fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit. - Ps 37:5-6 Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.
He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light,
And your justice as the noonday. - Ps 91:1-2 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
So rather than be caught up in the dismay and the rage pulsating in the nations, God is releasing new realms of authority to expand our spiritual capacity to advance the Kingdom.
