Among the Nations
21 Days Call to Fast and Pray - every Morning and Evening
"Global Upper Room"
January 1-22
"For from the rising of the sun, even to its going down, My name shall be great among the Gentiles: in every place incense shall be offered to My name, and a pure offering; for My name shall be great among the nations," Says the Lord of Hosts.
Malachi 1:11
VISION:
You are invited to join with others to "Exalt Jesus Among the Nations" for 21 days, 1-22 January 2021. Flowing out of the December 31st -January 1st 24 hour Global Upper Room (7am-7am CT) with IHOPKC, we invite you to step forward into 2021 engaging with others from across the nations for daily worship/prayer morning and evening. Our dependence on Jesus' leadership is crucial in days of increasing conflict and deception. We believe "Exalting Jesus" at the head of the year will be a vital catalyst for Jesus' pre-eminence in our personal and corporate lives for the coming year. God is calling Watchmen to rise, take an Isaiah 62:6 stance, be relentless, and persistent in seeking and declaring His purposes for the nations and Jerusalem. By gathering together, an Isaiah 52:8 reality is forming where Watchmen will connect, raise their voices, sing together, and see eye to eye as we lay siege to His divine purpose and destiny for the nations and Israel. This call is a divine invitation to meet one another on a neutral platform, worship, pray, and witness the Isaiah 52:8 reality unfold. By responding, we will be entering into a rhythm of heaven, with morning and evening prayer, and celebrating Shabbats, for spiritual breakthrough and advance to possess the gates of this coming year.

Why morning and evening prayer? Morning and evening prayer is biblical and carry great promises (Joshua 1:8, 1 Kings 8:29, 1 Chron 16:40, 2 Chron 6:20 to name a few). By engaging in these times, we will be setting a powerful spiritual precedence for spiritual breakthrough and advance. These hours are biblically significant and catalytic times of prayer.
Break of dawn prayer is powerful:
In this time of uncertainty and chaos, the prayer movement is being called into a new level of alertness. God is calling forth a Watchmen movement in response to the prevailing sense of a divine shift. What does that mean? How do we respond and walk such a shift out? By engaging in these times, we will be setting a powerful spiritual precedence for spiritual breakthrough and advance. These hours are biblically significant and catalytic times of prayer.
Break of dawn prayer is powerful:
- It is the time when prayer "Shakes the wicked out of the day," Job 38:12-13
- It is the time of resurrection power, Psalm 46:5-6, Matthew 28:1
- Time of spiritual breakthrough, Genesis 33:24
- Ignites spiritual awakening: Psalm 63:1-2; Psalm 108:1-3
- Sets the spiritual atmosphere for the day to make way for Kingdom advance: 2 Chron 20:20, Isaiah 58:8
- Divine encounters, Ezra 9:4-6, Acts 10:3, 30-31
- Healing: The first healing after Pentecost, Acts 3:1
- Salvation: Ultimately it was the hour when Jesus gave it all, and the veil was rent in the temple forever. Matthew 15:34.
- As one of the core values of the "Watch" is developing healthy community, Ekklesia, we are calling for an Isaiah 58:9 fast for the 21 days. The fast will emphasize fasting from negative thinking or speaking. The reality of Zechariah 3 and Revelation 12:10 is upon us. The "Accuser of the Brethren" is raging. Taking a corporate stance in refusing to speak negatively, will be a powerful stance in this coming season. Please join us with this focus.
- If you take away the pointing of the finger and speaking wickedness, if you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday. The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. Those from among you shall build the old waste places; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, and the Restorer of Streets to Dwell in. Isaiah 58:9-12
- You may want to fast food along with the discipline and focus towards speaking and thinking life.
