Call for Esther Fast
March 17-20, 2019 (Adar 10-13)
12 Hr. International Watchman Call 20 March
3am-3pm Jerusalem time
"Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month of Adar, on the thirteenth day,
the time came for the king's command and his decree to be executed.
On the day that the enemies of the Jews had hoped to overpower them, the opposite occurred,
in that the Jews themselves overpowered those who hated them." Esther 9:1
Dear Friends,
There is a cry and call emerging from Israel and the Middle East with a distinct sense of things ramping over the coming months (see below). We are sending to you the following vision/ word with the call for a 3 day Esther fast March 17-20 (20 March is Purim) finishing with a 12 hour International Call 20 March. This call is not to interfere with other fasts being called, but rather be concurrent with focused intentionality.
Vision: While with a group of leaders from the underground churches in Isaiah 19 nations, over a three day period I had repeated vision of the "Ancient of Days" figure seated on a throne, engulfed in light, with a scepter that was pointing to earth, specifically over the Middle East, (Iran, Syria region). The earth was dark but there was a strength and unwavering focus in the Lord's eyes towards earth from His throne and scepter.
Word: The issue of Esther was highlighted spiritually during the week especially for Iran and increased in intensity and clarity over the week. There is a mantle on Iran of their spiritual destiny for the Esther call. (Shushan is in Iran, Esther 1:2). We believe we are in a time when there is a convergence of powers that will manifest in the coming months and God is preparing the underground networks to be strengthened for the storm ahead. March 20 is Purim this year. The following key issues are converging and confirming this call for prayer and fasting:

- There is convergence this year of historic shifts lending strength to the storm ahead:
- 40 yr. anniversary of the Iranian revolution;
- The end of the 70 yr anniversary of Israel’s statehood
- 70 yr anniversary of China: Mao Zedong proclaimed the founding of the People's Republic of China in the square on October 1, 1949
- Some super powers are held in gridlock while others are moving to devise schemes to take advantage of the gridlock. After the Israeli elections April 9, a peace plan will be presented largely through US efforts. The stage is being set for a major ramp up.
- The elections April 9th in Israel will carry significant international weight. Those in Israel are already feeling the heat.
- We are in 2019, 5779. The 9th hour of prayer is highlighted (3pm Jerusalem time)
- 9th Hour was when a "Man in bright clothing came to Cornelius and said "Your prayer has been heard, and your alms are remembered in the sight of God," Acts 10:31
- 9th Hour was when Jesus died on the cross, the veil was rent, and the earth quaked. Today, it represents a timing of the Lord for the veil to be removed for the eyes of the blind to be opened and the fullness of the Gentile Church. (See Romans 11:25).
- This is a Jewish leap year in which there are two months of Adar, thus highlighting the month of Adar when the book of Esther and Purim occurred.
- Iranian Christians love Israel, their picking up the mantle (Understanding and prayer) of Esther could very well be part of God's plan in establishing His throne in Elam, Jer. 49:38.
