The Shift:
Keys to Doors for the New Season
Arriving late in Armenia on a recent journey, we went directly to a church service we had planned to attend. Though late, we were able to catch some of the worship. The atmosphere was charged with God’s presence, and as I listened, I received the following vision:

From a satellite view, I saw the nation of Armenia and the surrounding nations. Suddenly, a key descended from heaven over Armenia. It was ancient in design, yet covered in shiny, new gold. As it hovered over Armenia, it began to spin. With every turn of the key, I saw doors swing open over the landscape. Isaiah 22:22 came to mind.
I will place on his shoulder the key of the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. |
Meditating on the vision, its meaning, and its application for today, I believe God is about to release ancient truths and bring them forth in new ways. Keys long held in reserve are being placed into the hands of His people. These are not merely keys of revelation, but keys to open doors of restoration, redemption, authority, and opportunity. They will unlock Kingdom purposes that have awaited their appointed time.
The release of these ancient keys is part of a significant spiritual shift now unfolding across the nations. Do you see or sense it? We have turned a corner to a place we have not been before.
What is the shift?
Every generation experiences defining moments, but certain times serve as markers that signal a transition in God's redemptive timeline. We are living in such a moment.
January, 20, 2020 the first laboratory confirmed case of COVID was identified in a traveler who had returned from Wuhan, China. Within weeks, the virus spread across the globe. By March 11, the World Health Organization declared a pandemic, and on March 13, the United States declared a national emergency. Emerging from this pandemic is a plethora of opinions, responses, and pronounced regulatory conundrums that, in retrospect, did little to control the spread. What it did do was plunge many into states of anxiety and depression. There is a plethora of studies documenting the onslaught of depression, anxiety, and even suicide during the COVID years and now emerging as an aftereffect.
Yet another transformational force emerged during the same season.
While Artificial Intelligence had been under development for years, it was in 2020 that large language models such as GPT-3 became available via developer APIs. By 2022, ChatGPT, an advanced conversational AI, made it broadly accessible to the public.
At first glance, COVID and AI appear unrelated. One was biological; the other technological. Yet both represent powerful markers of a changing age. Jesus warned of pestilence and plagues as part of the end-time birth pangs (Matthew 24:7-8; Luke 21:11). Likewise, the prophet Daniel was given a remarkable glimpse into the conditions that would characterize the end times:

Never before in history has humanity experienced such an explosion of knowledge. Information is multiplying at such breathtaking speed. People are running to and fro, searching, scrolling, consuming, and processing more data in a single day than previous generations encountered in months or even years. The increase of knowledge is undeniable.
The challenge now is discernment. Knowledge alone does not produce wisdom. Information alone does not reveal the truth. This is why the Lord is now releasing ancient keys. Are you ready?
Keys of the Kingdom
Ancient keys in new armament are being released for a new era. They will open doors to His divine purposes, redeeming and restoring what has been lost, and strengthening hearts fully committed to Him. What are these keys?
The Great Unveiling: God is revealing hidden things—both evil and good. He is exposing that which has hindered the advancement of His Kingdom and bringing to light what has been concealed in darkness. It doesn’t take long to listen to the news before hearing of another hidden matter being uncovered. Across governments, institutions, and even within the Church long-buried issues are being brought into the open. Yet this exposure is not primarily for condemnation or finger-pointing. Rather it is an invitation to prayer, repentance, cleansing, healing, and restoration. We serve a God who longs to see restoration and redemption of His creation. He is cleaning His house first. By purifying His Bride and removing obstacles that have hindered the flow of His Spirit, Hidden sins, wounds, and strongholds are being uncovered so they can be healed. It is a purpose driven process for restoration.
At the same time, with the harvest at hand, hidden blockages to people receiving the Lord are also being unveiled.
Yes, this season is not only about exposure—it is also about glory. As we step forward in faith and obedience through doors He opens, we will witness the manifestation of His power. Signs, wonders, and miracles will increasingly accompany those who believe. We are in the times Isaiah prophesied:

Intergenerational Restoration: Another defining mark of this season is the restoration of intergenerational relationships. The spirit and ministry of Elijah are rising once again as God moves towards the restoration of all things. As Peter declared:

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. Acts 3:19-21

For decades, rebellion, cultural upheaval, broken families, and generational division have left deep wounds in families and across nations. Yet God is now rebuilding what was fractured. He is creating fresh connections between generations and releasing favor upon intergenerational relationships and movements.Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z are being drawn together with renewed honor and mutual respect. Relational health is fostering this reunion and rebuilding the broken paths of the past. Desire for this intergenerational health is moving us into mentoring models that Malachi spoke of:

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet
Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse. Malachi 4:6. |
Judgments are being released on the nations: We are in times of judgments as we see the end-time narrative unfold. Earthquakes, pestilences, wars, and rumors of war are on ever-increasing frequency and ferocity. However, the purpose of judgments is not mere punishment. They will try the hearts of men with the intent to turn back to God. Isaiah says it well:

With my soul I have desired You in the night,
Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early; For when Your judgments are in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. Isaiah 26:9 |
So as you experience judgment either personally or in your region/nation, know God is trying to turn hearts back to Him.
Boldness compelled by love: As revival fires begin to develop in the nations, a new boldness compelled by hearts bursting in love for others and for God will compel people through new doors God is opening.

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 1 John 4:17

The boldness God is releasing is not compelled by loud voices or pompous words, but rather by divine encounters with the Lord that release vision and are driven by love and compassion for others. It will compel us into the doors of connection and relationship. Don’t pull back from the sense of needing to do something for the Lord. Step forward and see the doors God has prepared for His purposes open. God is in the most unusual places using unusual circumstances for His purpose if we are attuned to it.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13

Discerning times and seasons: God is raising up watchmen who are attuned and astutely sensing the times and seasons. A remnant is now rising that God is training to know when to war, when to rest, when to lie down and when to stand up.
As the end-time narrative unfolds and eschatological language fills the pages of social media, God’s Word is moving through a remnant of people He is calling forth to redeem and restore. Having fresh encounters with the Lord, and moving with boldness a remnant army is being called forth. Watch for the winds of revival striking the chords of your heart. It can happen in the most unusual of places at the most inconvenient time, but if you see sense the prompt, heed the call and step through the door, the keys of the Kingdom may just surprise you with a vast door of revelation and of Kingdom dynamics not yet experienced. The days of the Acts church carry ancient keys that when apprehended will unlock prison doors, heal the sick, redeem and restore that which has been lost and broken. God is watching over His Word and it will not return to Him void:
