THE ADVANCE: “No More Delay”
Word from Herrnhut 2026 Summit: “From Reset, Refuel, to Resolve”
Going into this year’s Watchmen Summit August 7-14th, 2026, I woke up out of deep sleep hearing these audible words, You are in the crucible of time and in the crosshairs of His purpose. The clarity of the words was striking. The words shook me out of slumber into an abrupt awakening. The urgency was real and the sense of alarm was palpable. I went into the Summit with that sense that we would be facing a significant encounter with the Lord. The word crucible literally means, "A very difficult trial, test, or period of severe pressure that forces change.(1)" Crosshairs point to a very real target in the future. That sense of alertness sent me into the Summit with eyes wide open as to what we would encounter. The Summit ended up being one of the most profound corporate encounters we have had thus far. Adding to this sense of urgency, throughout the Summit, I kept hearing the words: No more delay! There was a growing sense that God is bringing His people into a moment that requires movement—not movement born of fear or striving, but movement born from a spiritual shift requiring clarity, faith, and obedience. There is a sound of battle in the land. There is a sound of battle in the land. The hour is demanding that the watchmen awaken, discern, and respond. We cannot remain indefinitely at the place of preparation when God is calling us to advance. There are assignments that must be embraced, gates that must be opened, prayers that must be prayed, warnings that must be sounded, and highways that must be prepared.
This sense of urgency was underscored in a striking way during the final days of the Summit, as brush fires erupted across several European nations just as we were preparing to leave. The fires were severe enough that the story gained national attention in the United States. I do not want to presume that every natural event carries a prophetic meaning, but it certainly accentuated the spiritual sense we were already carrying: there is a shift, and God is calling His people to attention.
“No more delay” is a call to the remnant to respond to God while there is still opportunity to influence the trajectory of individuals, communities, and nations. In an atmosphere of war and increasing deception, tension, and shaking, God is awakening His people to discern the times, receive wisdom and revelation, and step into the assignments He has already entrusted to them. This is not a call to fear or frantic activity. It is a call to faithful obedience—to stop postponing what God has made clear, to release the gifts He has cultivated within us, and to occupy the spheres of influence where He has placed us. When God allows shaking, He is able to use that moment to awaken people to righteousness. Therefore, the remnant is not called merely to watch the hour; we are called to participate in it.
What does “No More Delay” mean? Here are some thoughts:
1. No more delay in discerning the times - 1 Chronicles 12:32; Ephesians 5:15–17
The sons of Issachar… understood the times, to know what Israel ought to do.” —1 Chronicles 12:32
Biblical discernment is more than recognizing that something is happening; it is understanding what the moment requires of us. The sons of Issachar did not merely identify the times—they understood what Israel ought to do. In a season of increasing deception and instability, the remnant is being called to cultivate spiritual perception: to distinguish truth from error, God's purposes from human agendas, and genuine urgency from fear. Watchmen do not simply watch events; they seek God's perspective concerning them. Therefore, do not allow the noise of the hour to determine your response. Ask God for wisdom before reacting, test what you hear against Scripture, and become willing to pause long enough to discern. Instead of asking only, “What is happening?” begin asking, “What is God asking me to do in this moment?”
2. No more delay in Receiving Wisdom and Revelation - Ephesians 1:17–18; James 1:5
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation… the eyes of your understanding being enlightened. —Ephesians 1:17–18
Paul's prayer begins with seeing. Before we can faithfully respond to God's purposes, our understanding must be illuminated. The answer to increasing deception is not simply more information; it is wisdom and revelation rooted in knowing God. Times are changing and God is calling His people into alignment with Him. He is calling us out of the old into new things. God is not merely revealing what is happening around us; He is revealing who He is, what He is doing, and opening new doors and opportunities to those who are seeking Him. Therefore, ask God daily for wisdom and revelation, give Scripture priority over speculation, and maintain a teachable heart. Allow God's presence to become the place from which you interpret the times. The clearer we see Him, the more accurately we can respond to the hour.
3. No More Delay in Obeying What God Has Made Clear - James 1:22; Deuteronomy 30:11–14; John 2:5
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only. —James 1:22
There comes a point when additional revelation is not what we need. Obedience is. We can become so accustomed to waiting for another confirmation that we postpone the obedience God has already made clear. “No more delay” means that preparation cannot become a substitute for obedience. When God has illuminated the next step, faith takes that step—even when the entire pathway is not visible. Ask yourself, “What has God already made clear to me?” Identify that next step and take it. You do not have to know everything before you obey what you already know. Faith does not require a complete map; it requires willingness to take the next step.
4. No More Delay in Cultivating and Releasing the Gifts God Has Entrusted to You - 2 Timothy 1:6–7; 1 Peter 4:10; Matthew 25:14–30
Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you. —2 Timothy 1:6
God does not give gifts merely for personal fulfillment. He gives them for service, influence, and the building up of others. The parable of the talents reveals the danger of burying what has been entrusted to us, and fear can cause us to protect what God intended us to release. There are gifts within the remnant that have been developed in hidden places—gifts that may have been waiting for confidence, permission, or the perfect opportunity. But perhaps the season is shifting from preparation to activation. What God has cultivated privately may now be intended to serve publicly. Therefore, identify what God has placed within you and begin asking where it can serve His purposes now. Stop comparing your assignment with someone else's and stop waiting until you feel completely ready. Use what you have, where you are, and allow God to expand your capacity as you obey.
5. No More Delay in Occupying Your Sphere of Influence - Matthew 5:13–16; Jeremiah 29:7; Esther 4:14
You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. —Matthew 5:14
God intentionally positions His people within families, communities, businesses, institutions, churches, governments, and nations. Esther's story reminds us that divine positioning carries divine purpose: Who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this? Your sphere of influence is not accidental. The place where God has positioned you may be part of the answer to prayers you have been praying. The remnant is not called merely to criticize darkness from a distance but to carry light into the places where God has placed us. Therefore, identify the spheres where you already have influence and ask God what His Kingdom purpose is for each one. Become a person of integrity, wisdom, courage, and compassion there. Use your voice when God gives you an opportunity to speak, build relationships with those who may not yet know Him, and look for practical ways to bring truth, righteousness, mercy, and wisdom into your environment. Do not wait for a larger platform; steward the influence you already have.
6. Do Not Delay in Building Relational Alignment - Ephesians 4:15–16; Ecclesiastes 4:9–12; Psalm 133:1–3
From whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies… —Ephesians 4:16
God's purposes are rarely accomplished through isolated individuals. He joins people together so that “every joint supplies.” This makes relational equity especially important in a season of acceleration. This is an hour for all to build and connect watchmen for the Global Watch. We will increasingly need one another—not simply for encouragement, but for power of agreement, new and fresh perspectives, relationships, and assignments. The increasing acceleration and intensity of the times will require a level of relational trust that has not previously been necessary. God is not only activating individuals; He is connecting people who can carry something together. Therefore, do not delay the relationships God is prompting you to build or restore. Pursue reconciliation where possible, honor the gifts and assignments of others, refuse competition and comparison, and build relationships before you need them. Look for people whose gifts complement your own, and ask, “Who has God placed around me, and what might He want us to carry together?” Relational equity becomes part of the preparation for corporate assignment.
7. It Is Time to Move from Defensive to Offensive - Ephesians 6:10–17; Matthew 16:18; James 4:7
There is a time to defend what God has entrusted to us, but there is also a time to advance. Paul tells us to “be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might” and to “put on the whole armor of God.” The armor includes defensive protection, but it also includes “the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Jesus declared, “I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18). Gates are defensive structures; they do not advance. The Church is not called to live permanently behind the walls of defense.
The prophetic call of “No more delay” is a call to move from simply protecting ground to taking ground for the Kingdom—to move from reacting to culture to influencing it, from preserving what we have to building what God is calling forth, and from continually responding to darkness to intentionally carrying light into places of influence. This does not mean striving, confrontation, or human aggression. It means advancing through truth, prayer, righteousness, courage, creativity, service, and the authority of Christ. The question is no longer only, “How do we withstand what is coming?” but “Where is God asking us to advance?” The question is not simply, “What time is it?” It is now, “How is God asking me to respond?”
Shaking can expose what cannot stand, but it can also create an opportunity for people to discover what is true. The remnant is being called into action to prepare people for what God is doing. And we do this from the position described in Ephesians 1:19–21: Christ has been raised, enthroned, and seated “far above all principality and power and might and dominion.”
There may be assignments we have postponed, gifts we have buried, relationships we have neglected, conversations we have avoided, and places of influence we have hesitated to occupy. The time now is to discern what steps the Lord is asking you to take, and move forward.
