1) Ima's Goodies
Meet Renee! Her organization, Ima’s Goodies, was inspired during “Operation Protective Edge” in July 2014, the Gaza War. It is her mission of Ima’s Goodies to lift the Israeli Defense Soldier’s spirits and meet the needs of both active duty and reserve Soldiers, who are fighting around the clock to defend their nation.
Renee heard from the Lord and took initiative and begin baking cakes and other delicious sweets, as a Mother (Ima) would do. She then delivers these personally to many units on different bases throughout the country during the week. She’s also been known for supplying electric kettles, sandwich makers, fans, portable air conditioner units, heaters, clothes dryers and even a tv for the long hours spent on base, plus, personal items & toiletries. In addition, she also provides large barbecue events for the soldiers, to help raise their morale during these difficult times. The gospel of the “Love of God” goes out in every cookie, cake and muffin. Renee appreciates all the support she can get ; financial, emotional, physical and prayer. She began this organization with the goal of showing the Israel Defense Forces that many people, including non-Israeli, non-Jewish people, support and love the nation of Israel. 2) IDF Uniform Fund
Meet Dalia! She is a dynamic Israeli citizen who saw a need for her nation in this time of war and is working to fulfill that need by supplying the IDF with much-needed quality tactical uniforms and support...right from her home. In Israel, everyone works for the war effort and Dalia has tapped into an important one. You can join as well. One uniform is approximately $55. Battalions are knocking at her door!
