5786 – A Hinge Year

The key of the house of David
I will lay on his shoulder;
So he shall open, and no one shall shut
And he shall shut, and no one shall open.
I will fasten him as a peg in a secure place.
And he will become a glorious throne to his father's house.

With the untimely assassination of Charlie Kirk on 10 of September, 2026, the upcoming Fall Feasts just leapt into dynamic importance. We find ourselves in a moment that demands clarity, courage, and consecration to try to make sense of it. These are not ordinary times—the weight we feel is both historic and spiritual. In response, we are calling a focused Daniel fast for 3 days, September 17–19, a preparation time before the Fall Feasts begin on the 22nd.  
​         5786 is a hinge year. The feasts themselves carry the pivot points for the hinge. The Trumpets awaken us, the Atonement pivots us through repentance, and Tabernacles swings the doors wide open into dwelling with Him. As the nations plot the counterfeit hinge, God is opening His appointed doors/time, and we must keep that hinge oiled with thanksgiving and yieldedness to enter into His Kingdom purposes and design. With the recent assassination of Charlie Kirk, a major RESET is being set into motion across the nations. Celebration and understanding the message of the Feasts this year will be vital for this shift. 

“I Have Been Waiting for You!” A Word for 5786 (2026) 
In a recent word for the Global Watch, this vision was relayed: 

VISION: (In Yerevan, Armenia) I saw a massive wall with many doors. It was an ancient wall and the doors were bolted shut. But as I walked out, some of the doors began to open. Others remained shut. From the doors that opened, I saw heads peep out with large eyes blinking as if looking to see what was happening. Those who opened the door stepped out timidly. As they stepped out, birds began chirping. (For the entire word click here). 5786 (2026) is a hinge year, linked to the Hebrew letter Vav (a connector like a hinge/nail). It is the sixth letter of the Hebrew alphabet and represents the number 6.  Some key issues for this "Reset" are as follows: 

• “This ‘hinge’ year is pivotal for the coming season. Change may rattle our horizon, but it is all to strengthen and prepare us for what is coming.”
• “Thanksgiving is vital to keep the hinge greased, so the doors of understanding and destiny swing open.”​

PLEASE NOTE: At the same time as the Fall Feasts, the UN will be deciding on the statehood of Palestine. As the nations press a counterfeit hinge (UN/Palestinian statehood), God is opening His appointed doors and time. Our part: keep the hinge oiled with thanksgiving and yieldedness.

Preemptive Strike — Daniel Fast - 17-19 September 2025
Because of the rapid shift since 09/10/2025 events, and pending UN meeting, we are calling a "Daniel Fast" for  three days leading into Rosh Hashanah (Sept 17–19, 2025).  The following targets for the Daniel Fast:

• September 17 - Focus for an intergenerational movement of prayer/discipleship Malachi 4:5-6
• September 18 - Spirit of grace and intercession to fall on the Church and release of the Ekklesia, Zechariah 12:10; Matthew 16:18
• September 19 - The global harvest & strategies for Kingdom advance John 4:35; 2 Peter 3:9; Matthew 9:37-38

When Watchmen work and pray together, it is a transformational instrument in God’s hands. This is a year of shift and the role of watchmen are critical for God’s timing and purpose. Let us put oil in our lamps and strength to our prayers for this critical “turn around year.” These three strategic targets form the tip of the arrow, a “Great Awakening” is knocking at the door.

Call to ActionWe step into 5786 as a hinge year. The doors God is opening will not swing without oiled hinges. Let us rise together as watchmen, give Him no rest, enter His gates with thanksgiving, and stand as a wall of fire around Jerusalem for this appointed time. A great awakening is knocking at the door.
