The Intercessory Owls and the Prophetic Eagles
Jenny Hagger 12-12-2016
I heard the Lord say "I am calling the owls to go deeper into the night."
As I was meditating on this word the Lord added another; "I am calling the eagles to fly higher by day."
I realized this prophecy was to encourage the intercessors and prophets.
The Intercessory Owls
The Lord is calling his intercessors to go deeper into the night Watches, to become late night owls meeting with the Lord in the third and fourth Watches (12am-3am, 3am-6am).
Psalm 63:6, Psalm 119:148
Owls have the sharpest night vision of any animal and their hearing is very sensitive. They fly low to the ground, quickly able to swoop down on their prey of snakes and mice without being heard, taking them by surprise.
God is giving the night watch intercessors eyes of discernment that pierce the darkness in the silence of the night, the ability to sensitively hear the voice of the Lord, and the anointing to take the enemy by surprise.
I saw battle lines being broken during the fourth Watch as the dawn approached. The Lord of the breakthrough was breaking through, the Son rising over the new day in victory. 1Chron 14:11
This is a word in season, as the owl is the symbol of wisdom. Throughout December Intercessors from nations relating to the Global Watch are praying through the book of Proverbs as part of Daniel’s Cry:Wisdom’s Call. The night visions being released by the Lord are not only powerful but strategic.
The Prophetic Eagles
Whilst owls fly low over the darkened landscape, the prophetic eagles are being empowered to take hold of the updraft that takes them on a much higher trajectory by day. "Come up here," is the command. Revelation 4:1
We will see a new release of the eagle-eyed prophets in 2017. The army of the Lord cannot proceed without them. God has been preparing some of them in the wilderness where they fled wounded and confused, weakened by persecution. The Lord is calling "It is time to come out of the wilderness!" I saw in a vision many returning into the waiting arms of spiritual fathers and mothers whom they could trust to continue training and equipping them. Psalm 105:15
These eagles will deliver powerful revelation and proclamation that will at times shake those in the church who only see at ground level. The eagles will not be intimidated because they will have flown high enough to see the broader Kingdom aspect, giving them clear revelation.
Some of these eagles have already been released. They played a significant role in the USA elections. They did not back down under pressure. They knew what the Father had shown them. Courageous, strong, unrelenting.
They were the forerunners of what is to come among the prophetic eagles across the nations.
Finally, the Lord revealed that there is a connection between the night owls keeping the Fire on the altar – Leviticus 6:12 – and the eagles being released by day. The hidden work of the owls is bringing empowerment to the eagles, and both will bring strength to the end time battle.
Jude urges believers to contend for the faith and he contrasts this against those who oppose authority, this he calls rebellion. He specifically mentions the rebellion of Korah and his associates against Moses (Numbers 18). As we pray for the Millennial generation and pray for parents and children let's pray against the Spirit of rebellion. The spirit that misuses scripture and disregards authority, structure and order. Romans 13:1-7 is most challenging because it is written at a time when the ruling authorities were more hostile and more anti-Christian than any we've experienced in our life time. Let's contend for the faith by paying respect to those respect is due, taxes to those taxes are due, honour to those honour is due. Let's start with our government, church leaders and parents. Then the police, taxman and teachers. Contend for the faith is a very practical exhortation.

In heart preparation for the month of reading from Proverbs, take time to prepare in humility and repentance knowing that true repentance leads to changed lives, 2 Cor 7:10. Key areas for repentance and seeking forgiveness:
• Our foolishness,
• For fearing man’s opinions and careless living
• For sowing seeds of dissension, discontentment, frustration, and anger
• Judging with our own opinions, for being harsh, critical and hurtful
• Walking in our own wisdom, believing it was sufficient
In reading and meditating on your Word in Proverbs, pray for God to erect these pillars in us, individually and corporately that we may bear good fruit.
1 ) PRUDENCE. Seek wisdom in handling practical matters, and exercise good judgment and common sense. Let our behavior be wise that we may anticipate ahead of time the results of our behavior and make adjustments accordingly.
2 ) KNOWLEDGE & DISCRETION. Help us to be wise in forming plans, your plans for us, our families, our community, our nation. Keep us from using this gift for selfish ends. Give us sound reasoning to know the best direction to head in and to properly plan our course of action. Keep us from presumption and blind optimism, and instead, increase our faith.
3 ) FEAR OF THE LORD. We know that to fear the LORD is to hate evil; to hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. Help us to love what You love and hate what You hate.
4 ) COUNSEL. We ask to be people who give good advice and wise guidance. Help us also to listen to godly advice and receive discipline and instruction in righteousness.
5 ) SOUND WISDOM. Please give us practical wisdom in our day to day behavior and in our relationships. Help us to be upright and without reproach, governed by honesty, fairness, and impartiality.
6 ) UNDERSTANDING. Open our ears and eyes to see the Truth of your Word. Help us to gain knowledge and learn from the precepts found in your Word.
7 ) POWER. In all things may we be obedient to the Holy Spirit’s guidance and the voice of wisdom.
Father, we aspire to be like your Son, Jesus Christ who became strong in spirit and grew in wisdom, stature and favor with God and man. (Luke 2:40) We desire to live in the house that is built by wisdom, dwelling amongst the seven pillars that Wisdom has hewn out from the Rock. Thank you that when we ask for wisdom you give it liberally, James 1:5. We thank you that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in us, and we shall walk as Jesus did as we hearken to the voice of Wisdom. May the seven-fold Holy Spirit rest upon us as it rested upon your Son, the Messiah Jesus Christ according to Isaiah 11:1-2
The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and power, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD - and he will delight in fear of the LORD. Isaiah 11:1-2, AMEN.
